|Dining at Burpham

Dining at Burpham is a complete, and perfect, evening for all occasions. Our Georgian panelled dining room has a large chandelier and intimate lighting and music, while our large conservatory offers a stunning garden view. Both look up onto the dramatic views of the Downs through picture windows.

 

We encourage a relaxed dining ambience, with an informal dress code, combined with crisp linen on the tables or a brasserie feel on wooden tables in the conservatory. Your evening starts in the lounge, where we offer you drinks from the bar, including Sussex wines and local bitters and organic lager. Many of our guests chat to each other, so the atmosphere is that of a relaxed house party.

 

In summer, guests can take desserts and coffee into the gardens to listen to the evening birdsong, or in winter they can retire to toast their feet by the fire in the lounge.

 

We are happy to cater for large group functions for lunch or dinner. You can book the entire conservatory as a large group of over 15. We can arrange for a specific menu for your group, wines, flower arrangements and presentation cakes as necessary, and we'll help you plan table seating, gifts and decorations. We usually reserve our second lounge for the exclusive use of your group. Group celebrations also have use of the gardens for photos.

 

We can cater for specialist diets, but need a couple of days notice to prepare dishes, so do please let us know when booking if you have food allergies or prefer vegetarian dishes.
