Our style of cooking is based around using seasonal, local ingredients in a simple style that puts an emphasis on flavour and great value. Prices start from £12 for a main course, with starters and desserts around £6-7.
Classic Starters such as Ham Hock terrine with Steve's home made piccalilli, French Onion Soup with gruyere croutons or Saffron Risotto with seared hand dived Scallops are typical of our menu. We also create a legendary fishcake that has become our most requested starter.
For mains we create hearty slow cooked dishes such as Beef Bourguignon and Duck Confit through to classics such as local free pork tenderloin with a herb stuffing and
Baked fillets of Hake with a sweet pepper stew.
We are specialists at cooking game and during the season we offer an extensive menu featuring Pheasant, Partridge, Venison and Duck, all sourced from Local Estates.
And we don't forget the vital dessert course. Indulge yourself by sampling our fabulous Treacle Tart, seasonal crumbles, home made ice cream and our award winning cheeseboard showcasing some of the counties finest artisan cheeses.
All our food is freshly prepared and cooked in our kitchens. Our salads use vegetables from our own gardens.
We cater for all diets and always have vegetarian dishes on the menu.
We publish special menus for annual events, such as Goodwood Revival, Christmas dining, and our New year's celebration.
