If you are looking for the ideal venue for your Christmas function then The Burpham Brasserie is the ideal place.

 

We can accommodate up to 32 using both dining rooms or up 21 on one table in our conservatory dining room.

 

Our Christmas function menu starts from just £21.00 for two courses and is available throughout December for both Lunch and Dinner.

Starters

French Onion Soup

Classic soup with white wine, beef stock and served with
grilled gruyere cheese on toasted crouton

Smoked Haddock & Leek Tartlet
Un-dyed smoked haddock, sauté leeks and mornay sauce. Rocket leaves

Chicory Salad (V)
With Roquefort, celery & walnuts. Walnut Vinaigrette

Mackerel Pate
A smooth rillette style pate made from fresh mackerel poached in white wine
served with warm baguette

Ham Hock Persillade
A rustic terrine with wild mushrooms, parsley and sun dried tomatoes.
Served with home-made apple chutney and toasted bread.

Mussels in Sussex cider with salsa verde
Rope grown mussels steamed in Sussex cider, shallots & parsley and served
with salsa verde sauce, French fries and crusty bread

 

Confit of Duck
Barbary duck leg with butternut squash puree, buttered Savoy & Madeira sauce

 

Steak and frites
8oz Rump Steak cooked medium rare and served with French fries and shallot butter

Slow cooked Venison with red wine and rosemary
Served with creamy mash, caramelised onions and red cabbage


Breast of Local Pheasant  with wild mushroom duxelle
Local estate shot pheasant with wild mushroom stuffing, parma ham and served
with slow braised lentils and celeriac gratin

Red Onion Tart Tatin with roasted peppers & parsnip crisps
Served with seasonal vegetables or salad

Desserts

Treacle Tart
with custard, raspberries & raspberry coulis

 

Creme Brulee with poached winter fruits

Plum, apple and Pomegranate crumble
