We source nearly 80% of our ingredients from within Sussex. We also support local suppliers buying fish from dayboats in Littlehampton, local lamb from our glorious Downs, and in season, superb game from the Angmering estate that surrounds our Hotel. We grow our own salad, herbs and vegetables in our garden, and our eggs come from free-range flocks in Steyning and Sedgwick. Our menus change almost daily, depending on what the Littlehampton boats have caught, and what is in season. Southdown Lamb features frequently, as does game from October.
We obtain much of our game, mainly pheasant, venison and partridge, from the Angmering estate and Chanctonbury Game.
