With nine individually styled en-suite bedrooms, including four-posters and luxury superkings, this family-owned Georgian country house and brasserie only three miles from Arundel is the perfect venue for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The ancient village, surrounded by the Downs, offers a perfect location for walking and cycling, bird-watching, or for visiting Arundel castle and the great houses and gardens of Sussex.

 

We place a great emphasis on your comfort and enjoyment, and offer tasteful lounges with a cosy woodburner, a large breakfast conservatory, and extensive gardens in which you can relax and enjoy the downland views.

In the evening enjoy relaxed dining in our restaurant The Burpham Brasserie and eat superb food using the very best local produce. Steve, our chef-patron, is a true foodie and takes great pride in producing a great menu complemented by an excellent wine selection, which you can enjoy in a wonderful setting. You might find, for example, Southdown lamb with seasonal vegetables, loin of pork with cashew nut cream, vanilla panna cotta flavoured with herbs from our garden, and a wonderful selection of Sussex cheeses. For our award-winning breakfast, we offer the renowned Burpham Grill or lighter choices such as smoked salmon & eggs, home- made smoothies and a wide range of other goodies to suit all diets.
